Congress imposed fees on ticket claimants in UP elections, 11 thousand rupees will have to be deposited with the application

Congress ticket contenders will have to loosen their pockets a bit in the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh. For the first time, the party has put a condition on them to deposit Rs 11,000. This money will have to be deposited by September 25 through RTGS, demand draft, or pay the order. The party will also give an acknowledgment to the claimant in return.

Such a circular has been issued by Congress State President Ajay Kumar Lallu. According to the circular, whoever wants a Congress ticket will have to deposit Rs 11,000 along with the application. All the applicants have to submit their applications by 25 September in any case. The circular reads, 'Sanjay Sharma and Vijay Bahadur have been authorized to submit applications for the upcoming assembly elections 2022 at the district/city Congress Committee at the district headquarters and at the state level.

All the applicants will be able to get the acknowledgment by depositing their application form with the above-authorized people at the district or state level through RTGS or demand draft or pay order of Rs.11 thousand till September 25.

Some members protested

It is being told that in the meeting where the decision was taken to deposit Rs 11,000 from the claimants, some members of the party opposed it. According to sources, the members in the meeting said that this is not the tradition of Congress. It may send the wrong message to the people. On the other hand, State President Ajay Kumar Lallu says that this amount will be taken from the applicants as a contribution to the party fund.
