Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who has made the state capable and capable by preparing the foundation of self-reliant UP, has completed the tenure of four and a half years. On Sunday, on the special occasion of the anniversary, he will share the achievements achieved in the journey so far as well as discuss his journey as Chief Minister till now. The Chief Minister will hold a press conference with his cabinet colleagues at Lok Bhavan on Sunday.
Double engine government
The common people have got the direct benefit of having a single party government at the Center and in the state. After the formation of the Yogi government in 2017, there was a great 'bonding' of the state with the central government. As a result, today be it PM Kisan Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, Ujjwala and Ujala Yojana or food grains production, Uttar Pradesh is at the top position in all.
Not a single riot in four years
For Uttar Pradesh, which is in the grip of communal riots every day, a major achievement in four and a half years has been to realize the dream of 'riot free Uttar Pradesh'. It is the result of CM Yogi's policy of zero tolerance against crime and criminals that on different occasions the opposition parties have also been appreciating the tight law and order system of UP. Not a single communal riot took place in the last 54 months.
9.36 lakh daughters got the benefit of Kanya Sumangala Yojana
The state government has run various schemes for the respect of the girl child, their security, opportunities for employment and their self-respect. In order to give respect and protection to women power, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath started Mission Shakti last year and now its third phase is going on. So far, the government has benefited 9.36 lakh daughters from the Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana.
Free education of girls in higher education is also a gift of the state government. Apart from this, more than 1.52 lakh girls were married under the Chief Minister's mass marriage scheme. 1.67 crore women got rid of wood smoke and were given free connections under the Ujjwala scheme. 40 lakh mothers were benefitted under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana.
