PM Modi will have a separate meeting with Biden before the Quad Summit, know the full schedule

The first personal meeting of the leaders of the Quad group countries is scheduled to take place on September 24 at the White House. During this, US President Joe Biden will host Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Australian PM Scott Morrison, and Yoshihide Suga of Japan. Now it has been learned that there will be bilateral talks between PM Modi and Joe Biden before participating in this summit.
According to sources, on September 23, before the Quad meeting, PM Modi will hold bilateral talks with the leaders of India's strategic partners Japan and Australia. PM Modi will hold talks with Japanese PM Yoshihide Suga and Australian PM Scott Morrison on an open and independent Indo-Pacific region.

India has had two-plus-two talks with all three of its Quad allies. In the same month, the first two-plus-two talks between India and Australia were held in New Delhi on September 11.

On September 24, first PM Modi will hold bilateral talks with US Vice President Kamala Harris and then for the first time he will have a personal meeting with President Joe Biden. After this, the four countries will participate in the Quad Summit. All these talks will be held in the White House itself.

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is leaving for America on September 20 itself. He is scheduled to attend the UN General Assembly here as well as complete the groundwork ahead of the Quad Summit. However, no meeting is yet proposed between the foreign ministers of the Quad countries.

On one hand, where PM Modi will try to deepen bilateral relations with these countries, on the other hand, the biggest issue in the Quad conference will be Taliban-ruled Afghanistan. The Taliban government, in which all global terrorists have been made ministers and not a single woman or minority has got a place. Apart from this, the Taliban government is also working against the resolution 2593 of the UNSC passed on 30 August 2021.
