World record of vaccination, India created history by administering 2.5 crore vaccines in a day on PM Modi's birthday

On the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all the records of corona vaccination in the country have been broken so far. Nearly a record over 2.50 crore vaccines were administered on Friday. Whereas earlier a record of 1.33 crore vaccines was made in a day. The Health Ministry said that under the Vaccine Service campaign on Friday, the target of providing two crore vaccines by 5 pm has been achieved. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya also visited Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi to take stock of the vaccine service campaign. While he was taking stock of the vaccination program at the hospital, the country crossed the 20 million vaccine mark.


Mandaviya thanks the workers

Expressing happiness over this achievement, Mandaviya thanked all the health workers for this and said that the country has achieved this achievement only because of their efforts. Mandaviya also sweetened the mouth of the health workers on this occasion. Earlier in the day, Mandaviya tweeted that 'The country has crossed the mark of giving one crore doses till 1:30 pm on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji and we are moving forward continuously.'

Birthday gift to the prime minister

Mandaviya had said on Thursday that those who have not taken a dose of vaccine, they should give gifts to the Prime Minister by getting their family members and all sections of the society vaccinated on Modi Ji's birthday on Friday. Let us inform you that on August 27 and 31, more than one crore people were given doses in the country. According to various reports, earlier the daily dose record was set by China, where 247 million vaccines were administered in June.

Full vaccination target by December-January

As of Friday morning, 20 percent of people above the age of 18 years have been fully immunized. That is, they have taken both doses. Whereas 62 percent of the adult population has received one dose (78 crore doses). The target is to provide a single dose of vaccine to all 94 million adults by the end of October and will try to provide both doses to all adult populations by the end of December or January.

Efforts to give one dose early in electoral states

Similarly, efforts are being made to give at least one dose of vaccine to the people in the poll-bound states- Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, etc. at the earliest. Vaccine availability has increased and the Zydus Cadila vaccine will also be available from next month and the supply of Sputnik will increase. At present, vaccines of three companies are being administered. Vaccines of six companies have been approved so far.
