BCCI President Sourav Ganguly's big disclosure, after Shastri's departure, Rahul Dravid can become the next head coach of Team Indi

After the T20 World Cup to be held in the United Arab Emirates and Oman next month, many changes can be seen in the Indian cricket team. After the T20 World Cup, where Virat Kohli is likely to resign from limited overs cricket and Rohit Sharma is likely to be made the captain in his place, there may be a big change in the head coach of the team. According to the news, Rahul Dravid, who was called the 'wall' of Indian cricket in his time, can become the next head coach of Team India. Dravid may be appointed as the head coach of the Indian cricket team after the departure of current coach Ravi Shastri.

Former captain and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly has indicated through a statement that Dravid will be handed over the post after Shastri's tenure ends. However, he also said that Dravid can be made the coach of the team temporarily. In a conversation with The Telegraph, Ganguly also said that he has not spoken to Rahul Dravid about the post of coach. Ganguly said, 'I understand that he (Rahul Dravid) is not interested in working (for the coach's post) permanently. However, we too have never spoken to him about it. When we think about this (coach post) then we will see what happens.

Head coach Shastri's tenure is only till the T20 World Cup and after that his tenure will end. Shastri has also said several times that he is in no mood to extend his contract. There were reports in the media that Dravid would take over as the coach of the Indian team after Shastri's tenure ended. However, Dravid has already made it clear that he will not be the next coach of the Indian team. Dravid had said that he would continue his role in the NCA.
