Bharat Band: Farmers' Bharat Bandh today against agricultural laws, routes diverted at many places; police on alert

Farmers have called a Bharat Bandh on Monday i.e. today in protest against the three agricultural laws of the Centre. During this, the farmers would block the wheel on different highways as well as block the railway lines. The farmers would keep the wheel jam from 6 am to 4 pm and protest. Almost every opposition party in the country including Congress, Left parties, RJD, BSP and SP has already announced their support to the farmers' Bharat Bandh.

Agriculture Minister appealed for talks
Farmers have made full preparations for the Bharat Bandh of 27 September. Meanwhile, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar once again said that I urge the farmers to leave the agitation and adopt the path of dialogue. Tomar said on Sunday that the government is ready to consider the objection raised by the farmers. This has been talked about many times before. Even after this, they feel that if there is any issue left, then the government will definitely talk about it.

These opposition parties are supporting Bharat Bandh
Apart from Congress and RJD, Aam Aadmi Party, Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party, Samajwadi Party and Left parties have also announced their support for Bharat Bandh. Former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav tweeted, 'Samajwadi Party fully supports the Bharat Bandh called yesterday by agitating farmers against the black agricultural laws of the BJP government. The government should withdraw the black anti-farmer laws.

Bank union also came along

The All India Bank Officers' Confederation (AIBOC) has also announced its support for the Bharat Bandh. AIBOC urged the government to resume talks with it on the demands of the United Kisan Morcha and repeal of the three disputed agricultural laws.

Delhi Police on alert

Delhi Police has put the police of 15 districts on alert after the announcement of Bharat Bandh. The Delhi Police has increased patrolling and deployed additional personnel in the border areas of the national capital ahead of the Bharat Bandh. According to the police, patrolling has been increased, additional personnel have been deployed at checkpoints, especially in the border areas and every vehicle entering the national capital is being thoroughly checked. CISF, DMRC will be on alert along with Delhi Police at the metro station in the border area and the metro station coming in the New Delhi area.

Let us inform that for the last ten months, farmers' agitation has been going on at various borders in Delhi against the three agricultural laws. Farmers of Punjab, Western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana etc. are demanding from the government to repeal agricultural laws and enact a law on MSP.
