IPL 2021: Despite the humiliating defeat, RCB captain Virat Kohli is not in tension, explains the reason

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli said the match was an eye-opener for his team after their nine-wicket loss to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in a one-sided match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Monday. The team now knows which departments to work in.
Kohli said after the match, 'It was important to have a good partnership. We didn't expect so much dew so soon. Lost five wickets for around 20 runs after 42 runs for one wicket. It is like an eye-opener, when it happens at the beginning of the second phase, we know which areas we have to work on.'

Kohli, however, is not overly upset over the loss. “We have won five out of eight matches, we expected to lose some matches. It is part of the game, we need to take a professional approach. We have to play according to our strong sides and execute our plans. KKR captain Eoin Morgan said that it is rare when a team performs so well. Morgan said, 'Very rarely does it happen when you perform like we did today. We have talented players. Despite that though you have to do well on the field and we did that today. I don't think the wicket has changed much. RCB got off to a good start but the wicket at the end of the powerplay changed things for us.
