Shane Warne does not consider India's current batting lineup to be the best, said- Sachin-Ganguly, Dravid and Laxman do not matter

Former Australia spin legend Shane Warne feels the current Indian Test batting line-up is impressive but it is nowhere near the golden era of the Indian batsman. This batting line-up included Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman. He said that these five batsmen dominated the bowling attacks across the world. Warne played a lot of cricket against him.

Warne said in a conversation with Sky Sports, "Nowhere is their batting as strong as Dravid, Ganguly, Laxman, Tendulkar, Sehwag. Virat Kohli is one of the best batsmen on the planet. If not the best batsman in the world, he is definitely one of the best batsmen in all formats. But when you see Sehwag, Ganguly, Dravid, Laxman, Tendulkar in the top 5, it was a different thing. So I don't think you can say that Kohli's team is the best Indian batting team.

Warne feels that skipper Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant are brilliant. But the reason India is ahead is the fast bowling attack. "Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are two exceptional players and I think Rishabh Pant is on his way to becoming a superstar. But I think it is their fast bowlers who have made the Indian team capable of winning not only India but in any situation.
