On Monday, 700 people who landed at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport were sent to a mandatory 10-day quarantine. Earlier, RTPCR test of all these people was also done. Recently, new rules have been announced by the Government of India. Under this, travelers coming from Britain will have to stay in a 10-day quarantine. The new rules have been implemented from 12 o'clock on Sunday night itself.
A senior government official said that till Monday afternoon, three flights from the United Kingdom, have reached IGI Airport. Of these, 700 passengers have landed. Apart from Indians, there are also a large number of British citizens. According to the new rules, it will be necessary for travelers coming from Britain to present a negative report of RTPCR as soon as they come to India. Apart from this, there will be a one-time test at the airport as well. Not only this, after the completion of the 10-day quarantine period, the RTPCR test will have to be done once again. The official said, 'A team of Delhi government has been deployed at the airport for this entire process. This team takes information from the passengers about their address etc., where they are going or where they will stay in Delhi.
Apart from this, a team will be deployed to ensure that the rules of quarantine are being followed or not. In fact, the British government has not yet recognized the Corona Vaccine Certificate issued in India. Due to this, even after being vaccinated in India, it is considered unvaccinated in the United Kingdom,. Due to this, the people of India are following the rules of quarantine etc. India had demanded exemption in this, but giving a befitting reply to Britain for not doing so, the Government of India has also implemented similar rules.
E-Visa facility also ended for people of United Kingdom, and Canada
Due to this, people coming from Britain will have to remain in quarantine even after getting vaccinated. Let us tell you that the e-visa facility for United Kingdom, and Canada has also been abolished by India. Now travelers coming from the United Kingdom, will have to come with a regular stamp visa. After implementing all the restrictions on people going from India, India has taken this decision regarding visas for people coming from these two countries.
