United states Deputy Secretary of State Wendy R Sherman, who is visiting Pakistan, has said that the United states President can talk to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan soon. During a conversation with the editors of newspapers in Pakistan, Wendy also said that the Biden administration is aware of Pakistan's concern about the bill introduced in the United states Parliament seeking sanctions on Pakistan.
Wendy said, "We know that every country wants to have a phone conversation with the United states President. I am sure that this conversation with Imran Khan will happen soon." Responding to a question, Sherman said, "I am sure that this contact will happen soon. I don't think it should have any other meaning. There is no need to speculate about no telephone conversations as of now.
