The result of JEE-Main, the engineering entrance exam, was declared on Tuesday night, in which a total of 44 candidates scored 100 percentile. While 18 candidates got the first rank. Education Ministry officials gave this information on Tuesday night. From this year onwards, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Main is being conducted four times in a year to give the students a chance to improve their scores. The first phase was conducted in February and the second in March.
The next phase of examinations was to be held in April and May but was postponed in view of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. The third phase was conducted from July 20-25 while the fourth phase was conducted from August 26 to September 2.
