More dangerous variants of the corona virus are no longer likely to be found. With the passage of time, the virus will become less lethal and the effect of Covid will weaken and remain like a cold. This claim was made by Professor Dame Sarah Gilbert, who made Oxford-AstraZeneca's anti-corona vaccine. In the seminar of the Royal Society of Medicine, Gilbert said that the more the corona virus spreads in a population that is gaining more immunity day by day, the weaker it will become. He said that we are already living with four types of corona virus found in humans, but never think much about them. Similarly, a time will come when we will not worry much about SARS-CoV-2 (Covid).
Gilbert said that the corona virus may still be contagious, but there are not many new places left for its spread. The team led by Professor Gilbert, 59, of the Jenner Institute at Oxford University, developed the anti-corona vaccine Covishield. He said that now there is no reason to see more lethal variants of the corona virus. Professor Gilbert also suggested that changing the vaccine against beta variants of the corona will not have much effect. He said that if the third dose of the modified vaccine is given to people who have received both doses, then its effect in increasing immunity will be only slightly better. It is also admitted that in the absence of studies, nothing can be said with certainty about this.
Force not to come in third wave in India:
Professor Gilbert's claim seems to strengthen the conclusion of Indian experts, which says that there is no possibility of a third wave in India. Earlier, Sujit Singh, director of the National Institute of Disease Control, had said that even if a new variant of corona appears now, it cannot bring a third wave. It was also said that within the next six months, Corona will turn from pandemic to endemic. Endemic refers to a disease that is always present and human beings learn to live with it. According to experts, only those viruses can be permanently eradicated, whose viruses are not found in animals such as smallpox and polio viruses. But the corona virus is also found in animals, so humans will continue to be infected with it, but it will not have any fatal effect.
Corona will reach every school child in Britain:
England's Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty has claimed that every school child in his country is bound to come in contact with Corona.
