Why there is chaos in this Arab country, 50 people lost their lives in civil war, understand what is the matter

At least 50 people have been killed in Yemen in violent clashes between pro-government soldiers and rebel fighters. News agency AFP has given this information quoting military sources. A government military official says a colonel and 19 soldiers have been killed in fighting with Houthi rebels in the al-Beida district in the past 24 hours.

According to reports, 30 Houthi fighters have died in the fighting. The Houthis have not yet confirmed this, but this has been confirmed by other sources. Iran-backed rebels have tightened their hold in al-Bayd province in recent days. Fighters are fighting to capture the city of Marib in the north.

Civil war continues in Yemen since 2014

Yemen has been in a state of civil war since the outbreak of conflict in 2014. In the same year, the Houthi rebels captured the capital Sanaa. So far, more than ten thousand people have been killed in Yemen and millions have been displaced. Millions of people are on the verge of famine. The United Nations has been calling the Yemen crisis the world's worst humanitarian crisis.

Swedish diplomat Hans Grundberg, the new UN envoy to Yemen, arrived in Riyadh on September 17 to meet with Yemeni and Saudi officials. It is expected that some concrete conclusion will be reached from this conversation. The United Nations and America are constantly talking about ending the Yemen war. Houthi rebels have called for the reopening of Sanaa airport, which has been under a Saudi blockade since 2016, before any talks or a ceasefire.
