Former United States of America President Donald Trump on Friday asked a federal judge in Florida to restore his Twitter account. Twitter suspended his account after the Capitol violence (Parliament Building) in January.
Former United States of America President Trump has filed a request for a preliminary injunction against Twitter in Florida District Court. Simultaneously he also argued that the company was forced by members of the United States of America Congress to suspend his account. Trump was banned by Twitter and several other social media platforms after a mob of his supporters attacked Capitol Hill on January 6.
Twitter issued a statement after closing the account, saying that his tweets glorified violence. This violates Twitter's policy.
