According to a Wall Street Journal report, which was confirmed by a Microsoft spokesperson to AFP, in 2007 Bill Gates molested a female employee via email and asked her to meet him out of work.
The next year in 2008, when the company learned of Bill Gates' emails, the group's executives warned Gates that his behavior was inappropriate. According to the Wall Street Journal, Gates admitted to the allegations of sending the email and said he would not do it again.
The board did not take any action against Bill Gates when asked not to do so again. Microsoft has nothing to share other than confirming the accuracy of the Wall Street Journal report, a spokesperson for the IT company told AFP on Monday.
