British MP David Ames has been stabbed to death 17 times. The Sun has given this information quoting two female staff members. The Conservative leader, 69, was killed while interacting with voters at a church in Leigh-on-Sea. AIIMS died on the spot too.
The Sun has reported in its report that a 25-year-old British national of Somali origin sat calmly after killing AIIMS and waited for the police to arrive. Local councilor Daniel Nelson has told that we know that the killer stabbed AIIMS with a knife and then is waiting for the police. The murder was completely premeditated. He knew he was going to kill.
The British police is treating it as a terrorist attack and is investigating from the same angle. However, the investigation is still in the initial stage. UK lawmakers have been demanding tighter security since the killing of another MP in the past five years.
In June 2016, Labor MP Joe Cox was killed by a far-right extremist. Cox's sister Kim Leadbeater became an MP this year. He says that the death of AIIMS has scared him. In view of the murder of the MP, Home Secretary Priti Patel has ordered a review of the security arrangements of all the MPs.
