China will stop flouting, India sends ultramodern weapons to the border, these things will prove to be a game-changer

India has deployed many American weapons on the Line of Actual Control regarding China's ongoing border dispute. Chinook helicopters, ultra light towed howitzers and rifles as well as India-made supersonic cruise missiles and ultramodern surveillance systems have been deployed along the border. Indian Army has recently said that Mountain Strike Corps is fully operational. All units, including combat and combat support units, are fully prepared.
India has sent a large contingent of army to Arunachal Pradesh. At least more than 30,000 soldiers have been deployed in Arunachal in the last one year. The central government does not want to allow 1962 to happen again when China had taken control of an area like Tawang.

Rajeshwari Pillai Rajagopalan, director of the Center for Security, Strategy and Technology at the Observer Research Foundation, believes New Delhi is pushing for deployment along the border due to the lack of progress in talks with China. This is the second consecutive winter when both the countries are mobilizing their troops on the border. In such a situation, India needs to buy more equipment from countries like America.

Mountain fortifications

Talking to Bloomberg, a senior military commander has told that India is now ready to wash China if needed. The region of Arunachal is important to India as its border extends to Myanmar. There are many narrow corridors which make the task of the army a little difficult. Aggressive attitude will help India to compete with China. The army says that the activity of the Chinese army on the Line of Actual Control has increased slightly but we have enough troops available.

Game changer

The new Aviation Brigade of the Indian Army, about 300 km south of Tawang, occupies an important place in the new plan. This is the same base from which American ships were flying heavy to fight the Japanese Imperial Army in World War II.

The Indian Air Force is now equipped with helicopters like Chinook that can bring American howitzers and soldiers across the mountains easily and rapidly. There are also several Israeli-made unmanned aircraft that send real-time pictures of enemies all the time.

Tactical tunnel

Talking about the Sela Tunnel connecting Tawang, it will be ready ahead of time. According to reports, the Sela tunnel will be ready by June 2022. At present, the difficulties of clearing the snow are faced and even then only a few vehicles can pass. With the construction of the tunnel, it will be easier to reach Tawang and it will take less time than before. This will enable fast and uninterrupted movement of troops throughout the year.
